Premarin

This drug facilitates or eliminates the manifestations of menopausal syndrome (sensation of fever, sweating, dizziness, irritability, depression), prevents the development of osteoporosis, interferes with the involution of the genitals, and reduces the level of testosterone in men.

Dosage

The drug is taken orally. For cyclic use – 625 mcg – 1.25 mg per day, alternating intake for 3 weeks with an interval of 1 week.

Side effects

Headache, nausea, vomiting, weight gain, edema, facial skin pigmentation, erythema nodosum, transient increase in plasma transaminases, hyperbilirubinemia; allergic reactions (rash); rarely – hemorrhagic rashes on the skin, endometrial neoplasms.
